I have been asking a single question, and so far I have not been satisfied by the answers. My question is: Why should Sasuke and Naruto be evenly matched in power? Some people said that it the way it is in most mangas they read so far. Some other people said it is the way Naruto and Sasuke have always been. Some said it should be this way for the sake of the last battle between them. However, what if the last battle is not planned to be a Sasuke vs. Naruto?
My point is that most people in this forum are misled by they desire to see a Naruto vs. Sasuke battle. This might not be the final battle, and I think there is even more in the power of Naruto as compared to Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke have never been evenly matched in term of power if we look at them from two different perspective.
Perspective #1: Naruto and Sasuke fighting a common enemy: Naruto is always the strongest
The first perspective is both of them are fighting a common enemy. In that case, we have seen that Naruto was always greater than Sasuke, or inspired Sasuke to attain a new level of his power. This was seen against Zabuza (Zabuza vs. Kakashi) for the first time when Naruto got a great idea after Sasuke was frozen by fear. The next time we saw was against Haku. Sasuke was almost dead, and Naruto got angry to almost kill Haku. The next was against Orochimaru during the chunin exam, where Sasuke almost gave up the scroll to Oro. In that fight, Naruto fought Oro until Oro renewed his seal. Then Sasuke got revived after seeing Naruto, and started a fight with Oro. The last case of this perspective was against Gaara. You all know that Sasuke was beaten up, and was saved by Naruto. In short, when Sasuke and Naruto are fighting a common enemy, Naruto has always been shown to be the strongest of them.
Perspective # 2: Naruto vs. Sasuke: Sasuke seems to be stronger but he is not actually.
My opinion is when Naruto and Sasuke are fighting, Sasuke only seems stronger but actually is not the strongest. The reason is that Naruto has never aimed to fight Sasuke with evil intent. The first of this fight was after the formation of team 7. Naruto used Shadow clone to beat Sasuke in order to date Sakura. To me that was the only time Naruto ever planned to fight him. After that Sasuke beat Naruto at the end of this anime arc but Naruto was sick. The second fight between them was on the roof top of the leaf hospital. You can imagine Naruto's feelings. He crossed all the world to bring a doctor in order to save his friend, and all Sasuke did to thank him was to pick a fight with no reason. Naruto was shocked, and if you are honest, you have notice that Naruto was testing Sasuke's intent during that fight. Obviously, Sasuke morally lost this fight due to the impact of the rasengan. The third fight was in the final valley. Sasuke seems to have beaten Naruto. However, I claim that he did not win because Naruto was: 1) trying to stop him from going dark, and 2) Naruto put a crack in his forehead protector. So in this perspective, I claim that Sasuke seems stronger because Naruto is not fighting at his full power. I could had the last time they met but it would be of no use.
Please give your opinion, and don't change the idea of the thread. I like those who see and don't say anything because they have nothing to say.
sasuke never got his power from itachi am sick of idiots who read manga with contacts! get some glasses!! when itachi fough sasuke. itachi transfred a trap for tobi into sasuke meaning if sasuke was to ever see tobi. itachis trap(amatarasu) would awaken (hence wen sasuke saw tobis mask it activated and sasukes eye looked like itachis eye. tobi even explained this to sasuke he dint want sasuke knowing the truth. AFTER hearing the truth about itachi sasuke then awakens his OWN powers(MS) and wen sasuke swapped eyes with itachis(that enables him to see!!)the curse of the MS is that ur blinded the more u use it so the only way is for him to swap eyes with a brother(just like madara did with his) so he took itachis bloody eyes but the power in the eyes dont transfer to sasuke tobi explained this all to sasuke so relax sasuke is using his own power

naruto is the only one that can defeat tobi as it says above and minato saw through it very well minato might have won by letting tobi back off but he had nothing beside the death reaper to defeat tobi so had minato fought with tobi till the end and was planning to kill him he should have needed to use the death reaper which means there should have been no one beside hurizen that should have been able to stop the kyuubi and which should also mean that konoha should have lost two strong heroes on that fatefull day
that should also explain why tobi was after the kyuubi to begin with as he said here
it was for both whim and a plan,he might have needed the kyuubi for his moon eye's plan but he probally also went for the kyuubi becaus it was the only weapon that should stop him and minato saw through that very well
i have heard alot ppls say that even with the kyuubi power naruto doesn't stand a chance and all against tobi he needs sharingan or the rinnegan to be able to defeat him well all i gotta say is that is just wrong
minato very much saw how tobi was immortal so he decided to leave everything behind for naruto which was very correct it was mybe an assumption but in the end it was the right assumption

,some part of tobi is made of hashirama cells which means naruto should only need 1 touch turn tobi into a tree like he did against zetsu

so i for one am assuming that kabuto is the last villian i mean when a last vallian is shown in every manga we barely know what the villian is able to do but for tobi part we olmost know everything about him and what his abilities are kabuto is more like a mistery we still need to find out he even have other jutsu which if you add with edo tensei also makes him invicible as he said
now that kabuto brought madara back from the dead is obito now proven to be tobi or is there still speculation that tobi might be someone else?

it would be obito because him and kakashi share the same mangekyou powers with the dimension transfers and the hair and metal part of his right side of his body and his face is all scarred when he showed sasuke his face.
Kakashi is the son of Sakumo Hatake, also known as the "White Fang of Konoha". His mother apparently died when he was young. Kakashi has been known since a young age as an extremely gifted prodigy, regarded by many as the best of his generation. He had received top marks and had shown an innate aptitude for the ninja arts while in the academy. This permitted him to graduate from it in a single year at the top of his class at the age of 5, and then becoming a chūnin a year later. Dishonoured, Sakumo took his own life after a deep depression and a drop in his skills, which caused Kakashi to lead his life strictly by the ninja code.
Kakashi was teamed with Obito Uchiha and Rin under the leadership of Minato Namikaze. He later left for unknown reasons, but maintained strong connections with the ANBU. Kakashi eventually became a team leader, and tested many genin. As the Third Hokage told Iruka, Kakashi had never passed any of them due to their inability to live up to his expectations of working as a team. In the anime, he once had a mission where one of his team-mates, Iruka Umino, was injured, paving the way for the latter to become an instructor at the Academy. When Iruka was having doubts at being assigned to be the homeroom teacher of Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi served to remind him of his real reasons for wanting the post in the first place.

Appearance
Kakashi has always been seen with the standard Konoha shinobi outfit along with iron plated gloves from his ANBU days. During the Kakashi Gaiden, he is seen with a black T-shirt with white stripes in the middle of the sleeves. On his arms he wears black sleeves (which he presumably cut out from his shirt) with metal arm protectors over them. He also has leather straps around his back and chest, and his family's White Light Chakra Sabre is kept in a small holder out in the back. He also wore pants similar to the ones he wears today. He appears to wear the same type of outfit as a child (as seen in a flashback). However, in another flashback he is shown wearing a sleeveless black shirt similar to one he sometimes wears as an adult. This type of shirt is presumably for casual wear. Kakashi's personality is further emphasised by his generally lazy expression, aloof manner, relaxed voice, and minimalist attitude. In serious situations, however, he is shown to have a very stern and intense look. The cover page for chapter 16 also shows him wearing a chain necklace. Another noticeable feature to Kakashi, other than his unique left eye, is the thin scar running over it and down to his cheek. He is a tall, fit ninja, is characterised by his tall and spiky white hair, forehead protector regularly covering his scarred left eye, and his chronically visible mask. He was once mistaken by Chiyo for his father Sakumo Hatake, who he is considered to greatly resemble. While it has yet to be revealed why, he has, since a young age, always been seen concealing the lower half of his face. What he looks like remains a point of interest for his students, who try to find out what he looks like in various omake specials in the series. Episode 101 is devoted to Team 7 trying to remove their sensei's mask, and suggests that he is in fact very handsome, as seen from Teuchi and Ayame's reaction to seeing his face. In the few instances that he is seen without his mask, it has been seen that he has a narrow jaw-line; in these instances the parts of his face normally covered by his mask are obstructed from view.
Abilities
Kakashi is a natural genius, evidenced by the speed he rose through the ninja ranks; he graduated from the Academy at age 5, becoming a chūnin at age 6, a jōnin at 13, and had a long tenure as an ANBU. During his career he has amassed a technique arsenal of over a thousand different techniques, making him Konoha's expert in the field. His various accomplishments have earned him much praise by his fellow Konoha ninja and he holds a position of great influence. He is frequently given responsibility for important tasks, such as watching Naruto in case the seal of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox begins to fail and being considered for Hokage.Other ninja villages are very aware of Kakashi's abilities and, upon meeting him in battle, either fear for their safety or grow excited by the challenge Kakashi is sure to pose. Pain was so concerned by Kakashi's abilities that he tried to kill him for fear that he would someday interfere with Akatsuki's plans.

In Part II, Naruto notes that Kakashi is smarter than Shikamaru Nara, a better nose than Kiba Inuzuka, a better taijutsu performance than Rock Lee, and has better Sharingan mastery than Sasuke Uchiha.Kakashi has proven himself to be an intelligent ninja with great instincts and battle prowess, making him a match for any opponent. His skills also improve between Part I and Part II: in Part I he has difficulty keeping up with Itachi Uchiha's speed, but by Part II he is able to match Itachi in combat. Similarly, in Part I he is only able to use the Lightning Cutter four times a day, but in Part II has been seen using it at least six times in one battle and still having enough chakra to plan on using the Mangekyō Sharingan. Kakashi is also able to summon a pack of ninja hounds to aid him in battle or for other supplementary purposes.
Intelligence
By the age of 13, Kakashi had enough experience on the battlefield to detect a hiding enemy's presence, impressing his sensei, Minato.His long career as a jōnin, and formerly as an ANBU, have only expanded his knowledge, allowing him to handle virtually any situation (though, by his own admission, he does not believe he is suitable for the Hokage position). For these reasons Kakashi has been assigned to a variety of teams - typically as a leader - and he is always able to work well with his team-mates. Chōza Akimichi attributes Kakashi's success to his approach to battles: he avoids direct combat by using misdirection and clones until he can determine the opponent's skills, at which point he modifies his tactics to fit the situation. He is aided in this regard by his calm personality, which allows him to analyse a given situation with some detachment. He is, however, capable of "going wild" when upset, at which point he relies on his allies more than usual to make up for his heightened emotions. Kakashi has also shown repeatedly to be a highly capable teacher. He has come up with various unorthodox methods to help his students produce impressive leaps in their abilities in weeks what would normally take months if not years of intense training.
Kakashi's most distinguishing ability is his Sharingan, a gift from his late friend Obito Uchiha, as it allows him to copy any technique used against him, see through any deception, give hypnotic suggestions, perform genjutsu, and predict his opponent's movements. However, because Kakashi is not of Uchiha blood, using the Sharingan demands a great deal of chakra. He also cannot deactivate it, and so keeps it covered when not in battle to prevent the chakra drain and the following extended bed rest. Because of this, Kakashi only relies on it when he feels it is an absolute necessity. Despite his handicap with the Sharingan, he is very skilled in using it; Itachi Uchiha, a true heir and master of the Sharingan, acknowledged Kakashi's superior proficiency with the Sharingan compared to most true Sharingan wielders.[11] Kakashi has somehow been able to improve his Sharingan with time. When he first received the Sharingan it had only two tomoe, but by the start of the series it has progressed to three. In addition, by Part II, Kakashi has extended the amount of time he can sustain using the Sharingan, as he is seen using it for seemingly a day while testing Naruto and Sakura.
Mangekyō Sharingan
Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan. During the time skip, Kakashi further improved his Sharingan by developing his own Mangekyō Sharingan through undisclosed means. With it he can perform Kamui, a technique that sucks everything within a small area to another dimension. When he is first seen using Kamui he lacks proper control, leaving him prone to either hitting targets he was not aiming for or missing completely. He improved his skill with Kamui by the invasion of Pain, seen when he successfully sends fast-moving projectiles to another dimension with it. Kamui's chakra requirements are even greater than those of the standard Sharingan, such that he has to be hospitalised for a week after using it three times in one day. Despite Kamui being his only known Mangekyō Sharingan technique, he is familiar with Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo. He is also aware of the risk the Mangekyō Sharingan poses to the user's eyesight, though he has never shown signs of deteriorating vision
